What Attendees Will Take Away
An hour and a half of practical, plain-English education designed for active women who want to feel steady and supported in their bodies.
Understand Hypermobility
Learn what hypermobility actually is, why some people are naturally more flexible than others, and why bendy joints often ask more of the surrounding muscles.
Connect The Pelvic Floor
Discover how the pelvic floor, hips and core work as one system, and why flexibility without support can show up in everyday activities like lifting, running and playing with the kids.
Build Strength The Smart Way
Try simple, movement-based strategies for building stability from the ground up, so staying active and getting back to the hobbies that matter feels more achievable.
Meet The Host
Laura Currens, Pelvic Health Physical Therapist
Laura is the owner of Dynamic Flow PT in midtown Ventura, a pelvic health specialty practice that helps women from post-partum through pre-menopause get back to the active lives they love. She believes education should feel like a conversation, not a lecture, which is why this workshop is hands-on, movement-based and built around real questions from real women.
Expect a warm welcome, a small group, plenty of time for questions, and a few patients on hand to share what their own journeys have looked like.
Who This Workshop Is For
This free session is a great fit for anyone who:
Has always been told they are "double-jointed" or very flexible and wants to understand what that means for long-term strength.
Is curious about how the pelvic floor supports everything from lifting and running to pregnancy recovery and the years leading up to menopause.
Wants to stay active, feel more stable and get back to hobbies, sports and family life with confidence.
Prefers learning by moving and asking questions rather than sitting through slides.
